Success! Despite the sun hitting our faces Ctrl+Art+Create was so wonderful
and so many good designers/artists got exposed and sold work. We also had
music by three great bands! The Wheel Workers, Hilary Sloan of I Am Mesmer
and Sabra Laval. We are looking forward to next year and plan on making it
bigger and better!

Just launched the new website I designed for my dear friend Carole a.k.a.
McCheek's Mayhem! Carole is one of my most favorite artists in Houston.
Her artwork has been featured on Poppytalk, Design*Sponge and Etsy. She has
a new venture, McCheek's Academy, ceramic classes for both children and adults.
The other fun thing she is doing is Clay & Cabernet! Round up a group of friends,
pop open a bottle of wine and make ceramics. Who wants to join me?!
Not only is Carole an amazing ceramics artist, she has a wonderful eye
for color and photography. She is currently doing a 365 project that I enjoy
checking out on her flickr.
As for me, I am currently considering revamping this place.
Stay tuned for that :)

sound of "chit chat." Each presenter has 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide.
This is going to be a great thing for this city! Come on out and show your support!
